Richard Morgan Fliehr better known by the rest of the world by his ring name, Ric Flair, is a retired American professional wrestler. Also known as "The Nature Boy,"Flair is among the most well known wrestlers in the world and is THE biggest star in the HISTORY of wrestling (sorry Hulk Hogan). Flair is recognized by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) as a 16-time World Heavyweight Champion, although his actual tally of world championship reigns varies by source. If you don't know anything about wrestling, let me put it into prospective for you, Ric Flair is the Muhammad Ali of wrestling. His record of sixteen world heavyweight titles my never be broken.
In September 2007, Flair opened a financial business called Ric Flair Finance. In July of 2008, Ric Flair Finance filed for bankruptcy. I remember in 2007 at the Hall Of Fame Ceremony in Detroit, I was sitting next to Ric and he was pitching his mortgage company that he was about to open. Ric is a great salesman, but I (respectfully) never used his finance company. The WWE actually has a DVD out of that Hall Of Fame Ceremony and you can see me sitting next to Ric in the front row thruought the presentation.
